Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers and municipal regions have signed agreements

According to them, the municipalities assume obligations to achieve planned indicators.
Tatarstan head of government Ildar Khalikov spoke about Tatarstan’s economic development in 2011, noting economic results were solid. With an industrial production index of nearly 106 percent, the volume of shipped products is slightly under 1.3 trillion roubles. The growth in gross wages has been 113 percent, while the growth of real wages has been 106 percent.
Tatarstan econom y minister M. Shagiakhmetov said the average level of reaching the indicators was in 2011 about 80 percent.
The new agreements, for 2012-2014, envisage 24 indicators grouped in fours, including Welfare Development, Housing and Utilities Branch, Municpal Governance, Increasing Investment Appeal and Tax Potential of Municipality.
«The new system of indicators is coherent with the republic’s socio-economic development indicators,» M. Shagiakhmetov said.
The signatories were Prime Minister of Tatarstan and municipal region heads.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
