For the first time for 19 years natural population growth has been reached in Tatarstan in 2011

In year 2011, first time, for last 19 years birth rate in Tatarstan overtopped dearth rate and so natural population growth is observed in the republic. RT Minister of healthcare Airat Farrakhov stated this in the first in a new year briefing held at the RT Government House.
As A. Farrakhov informed, birth rate in Tatarstan is marked since year 2006. For 5 years birth rate has grown 35,7% - from 9,8 in 2005 year to 13,3 in 2011.In 2011 50443 babies were born that 1652 babies more than in 2010 ( 3,1%).
The most high birth rate in 2011 was registered in Muslyumovsky (15,5) and Kukmorsky (14,4) regions, Kazan (14,4).
Simultaneously, a parameter of dearth rate in 2011 in Tatarstan - the most low for last 11 years and made 12,4 per 1000 people. For 2011 died 47035 people that 2678 people less than in 2010 (49713).
The most lowest death rate indices are in Naberezhny Chelny (8,1), Nizhnekamsk (8,8), Elabuzhsky (10,3),Baltasinsky (10,8),Almetievsky (11,8) regions.
As a result by outcomes of year 2011 in Tatarstan for the first time ever for 19 years a steady population growth has been reached - 0,9 per 1000 population. Natural population growth is marked in 8 municipal formations of the republic – Nabarezhny Chelny (+5,7), Nizhnekamsky (+4,8), Elabuzhsky (+3,9), Baltasinsky (+3,3) regions, Kazan (+2,4), Almetievsky (+2,0), Mendeleevsky (+0,7), Kukmorskyм (+0,2) regions.
Dearth from blood circulation organs in comparison to year 2010 dropped by 13,2%, blood-stroke – by 22,6%, external dearth reasons - 4,0%.
Life span in Tatarstan makes 71 years that almost two year more than average over Russia.
Airat Farrakhov noted also for the first time for several years the dearth rate among employable population has decreased in the republic.
In comparison to year 2010, a parameter lowered 3,4% and made 528,2 per 100 ths. population of corresponding age (2010 – 546,9).
Record low for all the observance time is a level of baby dearth - it dropped by 16,1% and made 4,7 per 1000 children born alive.
As RT Minister of healthcare underlined, today it corresponds to the level of many European countries and much lower of average Russian index.
Head of RT Ministry of healthcare informed that since 2012 registration of baby dearth will take place under international criteria of the World Health Organization – now, born alive will be considered children with mass body from 500 grammas and in the age since 22 weeks.
Airat Farrakhov marked that the republic envisages a complex of measures of special care nursing for such newborns.
Within the modernization program a major repair is under way, and furnishing leading institutions of obstetrics and childhood with an update equipment is being held (Perinatal center RCB, Children’s republican clinic hospital), fitting out Almetievsk children hospital with perinatal center with equipment.
Big works are under way on reconstruction of Transkama children hospital with perinatal center in Naberezhny Chelny, in 2012 a major repair is planned in children hospital with perinatal center in Nizhnekamsk.
Appearance of the equipped state- of- the art perinatal centers, by words of Airat Farrakhov will help saving life of babies even in the most difficult medical cases.
On 5 May, speaking at a regular meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that currently 63 school catering units are under repairs with the amount of work completed reaching 15 per cent.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
