Ildar Khalikov: Work of ZAGS does not give rise to complaints

During last year work of ZAGS (civil registry office) did not give rise to complaints, Acting RT President and PM Ildar Khalikov stated at a final collegium of ZAGS Department at RT Cabinet themed “Activity on state registration of acts of civil status in RT in 2011 and tasks for 2012”.
Head of RT Government reminded after Bulgaria shipwreck employees of ZAGS were the first to response and help the victims. He also stated due to major efforts of the republican leadership and health care Ministry the birth rate exceeded death rate in 2011 in Tatarstan.
Ildar Khalikov noted today Tatarstan takes leading positions in Russia by many factors including increase of housing construction, salary rise, increase of birth rate. As an example he cited presidential program “Belekech” on construction of kindergartens. Last year 3 bln roubles were allocated for realization of this program. Modernization of health care system is being widely realized in Tatarstan. For 10 years duration of life increased from 67 to 71 years.
Chairman of the RT Government expressed concern about percentage of divorces in Tatarstan and recommended ZAGS staff to have conversations with newlyweds before their marriage is registered and provide consultations of psychologists if necessary. He also stressed interdepartmental interaction is important.
Work of ZAGS agencies on implementing e-services was positively assessed.
Head of RT Government congratulated employees of the institution on 95th anniversary and wished efficient work in future.
Reports were presented by Deputy PM – Minister of informatization and communications Nikolay Nikiforov, Head of Central election commission Anatoly Fomin, and Chief of Department of RF Ministry of justice on RT Gulnara Sergeeva.
On March 10, the third meeting of the organizing committee on preparation and holding of the 20th anniversary Russian Venture Forum 2026 to be held in Kazan from April 8 to 10, chaired by Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov and with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and co-chair of the forum’s organizing committee Aleksey Pesoshin, President of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov, Director of the Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan Damir Galiev as well as representatives of federal and regional authorities, development institutions and partner organizations via videoconference, took place.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
