Mintimer Shaimiev presents II volume of the Book of charity providers in the Kazan Kremlin

Official delivering of II volume of the Book of charity providers and letters of gratitude of the Republican fund of historical and cultural monuments was held today in the Kazan Kremlin. RT State Counselor, Chairman of Guardian board of Republican Revival fund of monuments Mintimer Shaimiev addressed the audience with opening speech.
Mintimer Shaimiev said that he had not expected the project would receive such a kind of response and thanked the federal and republican governments for support. He noted a large amount of work had been fulfilled both in Bolgar and Sviyazhsk , and visitors would be able to see the main results this summer.
“Bolgar and Sviyazhsk will be restored in accordance with international requirements and we attempt they will be included in UNESCO lists and become monuments of world importance”, Tatarstan State Counsellor said. He noted everyone who invested in restoration of Bolgar and Sviyazhsk demonstrated to the whole global society that spirituality should be in the forefront.
Mintimer Shaimiev thanked the charity providers for support on behalf of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov as well.
Official delivering of II volume of the Book of charity providers and letters of gratitude of the Republican fund “Vozrozhdenie” (Revival) was held afterwards. We remind the ceremony of delivering I volume of the Book of charity providers was held on January,28 , 2011. It is granted to encourage members of the project “Cultural heritage of Tatarstan: ancient town of Bolgar and island town Sviyazhsk” who made their contribution in revival of monuments.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
