Tatarstan President inspects objects of Kazan transport and sport infrastructure under construction

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has implemented a working detour around several objects of Kazan sport and transport infrastructure under construction. Head of Republic was accompanied by Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin and Minister of construction, architecture, housing and communal services Irek Faizullin.
Rustam Minnikhanov visited construction sites of football stadium and Palace of water sports. According to information given by the contractor, mounting of wooden boards of the Palace is to be completed in April, concrete pouring of pool basins will be started in March. Variants of surrounding area improvement were also presented to the Tatarstan President.
Rustam Minnikhanov reminded a park will be laid out on the Kazanka riverside, close to the stadium and Palace of water sports and construction of any other objects will be forbidden.
Head of Republic also inspected construction works at “Aviastroitelnaya” and “Moskovskaya” stations. By words of Head of MUP “Kazmetrostroi” Marat Rakhimov construction of all three underground stations is being fulfilled in accordance with the approved schedule.
The last object of detour was the construction site of a road junction on the Lenin dam. A new overpass is meant to be constructed close to the old bridge.
The old bridge will in its turn be demolished afterwards, and the second section of a new overpass will be constructed there.
Head of Tatarstan addressed builders with requirement to increase the workload in order to be on schedule and minimize discomfort for city dwellers.

On February 3, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of opening XXI All-Russia competitions in fire-rescue sports for the Cup of the Tatarstan Prime Minister, held in the gym of the Chief Department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for Tatarstan with participation of 21 teams from various regions of Russia - a total of about 430 people.
On 31 January, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin reported that capital overhaul of nine school in eight municipalities of the republic has started.
On 28 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in an extended joint meeting of the Main Directorate of Russian Emergencies Ministry for Tatarstan and a collegium of the Ministry for Civil Defense, Emergency Management and Natural Disaster Response of the republic which summarized results of work of the territorial subsystem of the unified state system for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations of the republic in 2025 and set tasks for 2026.
In his keyword report the Head of the Main Directorate Irek Kadamov informed that there were 3 758 man-caused fires in the republic which killed 128 people and injured 177. Through joint efforts, we have managed to reduce the number of man-caused fires by more than 10%, the number of injured by 12 per cent, however the number of killed increased by 13 people, he said.
