Rustam Minnikhanov meets with Head of Azerbaijan ministry of emergency situations Kamaladdin Geidarov

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with Minister of emergency situations of Azerbaijan Republic, colonel-general Kamaladdin Geidarov.
The meeting was held in the Kazan Kremlin with participation of Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov, Minister of civil defence and emergency situations - Chief of Main Directorate of Russian ministry of emergency situations on RT Rafis Khabibullin. Azerbaijan Republic was presented by First deputy minister of emergency situations Rafail Mirzoev.
The parties discussed further cooperation between Tatarstan and Azerbaijan in various spheres including the activity of ministry of emergency situations. “The work of such structures is one of the most dangerous and responsible. Exchange of experience, acquaintance with new methods and technologies will be very useful for specialists of Tatarstan and Azerbaijan ministries of emergency situations.
Rustam Minnikhanov hopes the present visit of delegation of Azerbaijan ministry of emergency situations will help to consolidate mutually beneficial cooperation of the two parties.
RT President thanked leadership of Azerbaijan Republic for warm reception given to Tatarstan delegation within the working trip to Baku on March 1-2, 2011.
We remind delegation of Azerbaijan ministry of emergency situations is in Kazan with a three-day working visit (January, 27-29, 2012). Guests have already visited High technology park “IT-park”, "Kazan helicopters" plant and enterprises of Trans-Kama zone (i.e JSC “KAMAZ”, Kama industrial park “Master”, SEZ “Alabuga”).
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
