Enterprises of Tatarstan oil-gas-chemical complex realized output for the sum of 770 bln roubles in 2011

Preliminary results of activity of enterprises of Tatarstan oil-gas-chemical complex have been announced today at a session of JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” Board. The session was held by Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan President and Chairman of JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” Board. Director-general of JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” Rafinat Yarullin made the key report at the session.
By and large, enterprises of Tatarstan oil-gas-chemical complex have realized output for the sum of 770 bln roubles, the growth in 2011 has made 25 %. For 11 months the profit has made 139 bln roubles, profitability has reached 20 %. Volume of production of oil-gas-chemical complex has increased for 7%.
By words of Rafinat Yarullin Russia has maintained leading positions in the sphere of oil production. 509 mln tons of hydrocarbons and gas condensate have been produced in the country in 2011. 2 mln tons of oil have been refined at JSC “TANECO” (Complex of petrochemical and oil-refining plants in Nizhnekamsk). By and large, 10 mln tons of oil have been refined in Tatarstan in 2011, more than 15 mln tons are meant to be refined in 2012.
Volume of production at JSC “Nizhnekamskneftehim” increased by 7,6 %.
Sales revenue of JSC “Kazanorgsintez” made 37 bln roubles in 2011, sales profit - 4,2 bln roubles.
For 11 months of 2011 enterprises of oil-gas-chemical complex have spent 46,5 bln roubles of capital investment, Director-general of JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” Rafinat Yarullin informed.
An official of “Maruni Corporation” (Japan) made a presentation of the company at the session. He told about history of the company and its international activity.
RT President Rustam Minnikhanov addressed leadership of “Ak bars”, JSC “TAIF”, and JSC “Nizhnekamskneftehim” with requirement to study the partnership proposal of the Japanese company properly.
Opportunities of Praxair company (USA) were also presented to members of JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” Board.
Finally RT President Rustam Minnikhanov handed a medal “For bona fide work” to Deputy director-general of JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” Marat Akchurin.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.
