Rustam Minnikhanov in Moscow gets acquainted with proposals of Hyundai company in context of cooperation on preparing to summer Universiade -2013

Today RT President R.N. Minnikhanov has acquainted with proposals of Hyundai company on transporting participants and sportsmen within holding summer Universiade-2013 in Kazan

The Hyundai company performed as one of the contenders for the right to become a transport partner of Universiade-2013.

Today on the platform before the building of RT Rep-office in RF the Hyundai presented several models – two cars, a minivan and a bus for 43 seats.

All auto was decorated with Universaide-2013 symbolic.

Rustam Minnikhanov saw autos, studied their specifications.

Later, a meeting with company management headed by vice president of Hyundai Motor Company on countries of Europe Lim Byun Qwon took place in RT Rep-office.

On the part of the Republic Tatarstan took part RT President Rustam Minnikhanov, director general of Executive directorate of XXVII World summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan Vladimir Leonov, RT Minister of transport and facilities Lenar Safin and others.

The parties discussed the necessity of creating auto pool for transporting sportsmen, coaches, mass media people, fans during summer Universiade-2013 in Kazan. It is assumed that commutation stock should be new, comfortable and up-to-date.

In general, by experts estimations, for needs of Universiade-2013 it is required over thousand autos of various level (executive cars, minivans, buses, etc.).

Hyundai company representatives marked that they already enjoy necessary experience of auto shipments and servicing major sport events of international level – specifically, world football championship.

Hyundai leadership seriously considers the possibility to become transport partner of Universiade-2013.

Besides, the company is interested in prospects of partner relations with Tatarstan in the wake of forthcoming competitions – world championship on water sports (year 2015) and matches of world football championship (year 2018).

During the talks RT President R.N. Minnikhanov offered to discuss in detail price issues in the context of cooperation with Hyundai. It is supposed that company envoys will come to Kazan in close time for continuing negotiations.

Director general of Executive directorate of XXVII WSU - 2013 I Kazan Vladimir Leonov noted that talks on cooperation regarding transport service are under way with other companies –producers likewise (in particular, with Ford and others).
