Because of severe frost situation with fire safety has become worse

In coming days temperature is not expected to rise in the Republic of Tatarstan, Head of FGBU “Department for hydrometeorology ad environmental monitoring of the Republic of Tatarstan” Sergei Zakharov informed at a session of Commission on prevention and liquidation of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The session was held by First deputy PM Ravil Muratov in the House of RT Government in format of video conference with all municipal regions of Republic.
According to the data given by Sergei Zakharov abnormal low temperature, - minus 25 degrees, has set in since January, 21 in Republic. Average daily temperature has been fixed 10-15 degrees below the standard. The situation is not expected to change in the nearest days.
Tatarstan minister of civil defense and emergency situations Rafis Khabibullin reported on fire safety situation in 2012. 280 fires have happened in Republic from the beginning of the year, 27 people have died, the direct damage has made 6 mln roubles.
By words of Rafis Khabibullin within the last ten days situation has become worse, in particular in 12 municipal regions where the number of fires and the dead has increased.
Thus, Head of RT emergency ministry suggested inspecting all houses in regions in order to check banyas (Russian sauna) and stove equipment, providing snow clearing on the roads leading to settlements and fire hydrants, and involving mass media to inform citizens about ensuring fire safety.
Tatarstan deputy minister of energy Farid Tukhtarov told about current situation in the industry. By his words, power system is functioning in normal mode, Republic is provided with minimum emergency reserve of fuel.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
