Declaration campaign started in Tatarstan on January, 1, 2012

A declaration campaign started in Tatarstan Republic on January, 1, 2012, Head of Department of Federal tax service on RT Marat Safiullin informed at a briefing in the House of RT Government.
The briefing was traditionally held in format of video conference with all municipal regions of Republic and was broadcasted online in Internet (on the official Portal of RT Government www.prav.tatar.ru).
Marat Safiullin thanked representatives of mass media for work on informing population about current tax legislation and changes made in it. He reminded every citizen can get information about tax declarations in any tax inspectorate or on the website of Department of Federal tax service on RT.
Speaking about probable imposition of sumptuary tax Marat Safiullin said there is no any legislative initiative yet, but he did not exclude such possibility.
Head of Department of Federal tax service on RT noted most citizens are now law-abiding tax payers.
By and large, the declare income in the amount of 430 mln roubles is to be received due to the current declaration campaign.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
