Rustam Minnikhanov: Stable economic situation enables us to settle the tasks faced by the republic

Rustam Minikhanov has thanked today Kukmor municipal region of Tatarstan for a weighty contribution in development of the RT economy. We remind that Rustam Minnikhanov today in the second half day visited Kukmor region where he saw a new three floor apartment house constructed under the program of relocation of citizens from the failing housing stock and attended production premises of JSC «Kukmorsky plant of metal-ware». Further, Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a session of the Council of Kukmor municipal region (regional House of culture).

Speaking before the activists of Kukmor region at the session of regional Council, RT President stated that industriousness, potential and experience of Kukmorers might become an example for the republic.

He, in particular, marked that it is necessary to use the experience of Kukmor region in developing family farms, in backing minor forms of agricultural production.

Successes much depend on how to conduct the business, Rustam Minnikhanov said, you have the wish to grow and develop. «If people are anxious to work, they will succeed», - head of the republic claimed further.

RT President marked also that Kukmor region has such successful enterprises like JSC «Kukmoskaya clothes factory», «Kukmorsky felt – making works» producing felt boots well-known in the republic, «Kukmorsky butter –milk works».

Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that today he had visited also Kukmorsky plant of metal ware, which output is in demand not only in the republic but in Russia and beyond her borders.

By words of Rustam Minnikhanov, today Kukmorsky region should participate further in all republican projects – specifically, in programs of building rural houses of culture, moving citizens from the failing housing stock, construction of village roads, in program «Clean water» and many others. «We have huge plans and there will be many such projects», - RT President promised.

He also mentioned that one of the tasks for today is to make the Republic to remain a leader among other federation subjects, for people on the republic lived better. Last year, a positive demographic situation was fixed in Tatarstan, life longevity has increased (for last 10 years by 4 years, up to 71 years).

Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that today the program of major repair of multi-apartment housing is being implemented in the republic. RT State housing fund is building houses under social mortgage, housing conditions of WWII veterans have been improved, in 2011 the republic realized the program of provision with places in kindergartens for 3 year old children, over 11 places were created in preschool educational institutions. Besides, since year 2012 the program of school repair has started in Tatarstan, during 3 years over 770 schools are due to be repaired.

Tatarstan solves all these programs with the help of federal center, RT president asserted. Speaking on further progress of the republican economy, he mentioned that one of the major projects in the field of oil chemistry and oil refinery – JSC «TANECO» in Nizhnekamsk – has also been implemented with support of federal center.

Serious success in the republic have been achieved in a territory of special economic zone «Alabuga» - by today already 26 companies –residents have been registered there and by year 2020 we put the task to bring number of companies –residents to 60, Rustam Minnikhanov said.

JSC «KAMAZ» located in Tatarstan, the best mechanical-engineering enterprise of the country has adjusted partner relations with the companies – world leaders of machine building branch.

In the session of the Council of Kukmor municipal region took part vice RT Prime minister – minister of agriculture and foodstuff Marat Akhmetov, chief of RT Council of municipal formations Minsagit Shakirov, Vice chairman of RT State Council Rimma Ratnikova.
