Rustam Minnikhanov meets with President of All-Russia federation of rhythmic gymnastics

The President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnkhanov has met with the President of All-Russia federation of rhythmic gymnastics Irina Viner in the Kazan Kremlin.
In the meeting took part RT Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Rafis Burganov, members of Russia’s National team: multiple champion of Europe and world Evgeniya Kanaeva, champion of Europe and world Darya Kondakova, champion of Europe and world Darya Dmitrieva, champion of I Olympic junior games Aleksandra Merkulova.
Rustam Minnkhanov was interested in an opinion expressed by Irina Viner regarding the Kazan Centre of gymnastics under construction. By words of Irina Viner this complex is the largest in Russia, there are halls with 11 carpets in Kazan only. She expressed her wish about increasing the number of places for the audience in the main hall noting that it would enable holding major competitions up to the European Championship.
Head of All-Russia federation of rhythmic gymnastics noted with regret that even Russia’s team in Moscow does not have such premises and has to train in a hall with only 4 carpets.
Rustam Minnkhanov offered using the Kazan Centre of gymnastics as the training base for the national team. Irina Viner suggested Rustam Minnkhanov holding a World Cup stage in rhythmic gymnastics in the new center. The Tatarstan President supported the idea and addressed Rafis Burganov with requirement to work out all relevant issues.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
