Outcomes of social-economic development of Cheremshan municipal region for 2011 were discussed at a report session of the region’s council. Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov attended the session.
Before the session Head of RT Government visited reconstructed Lashmansky secondary school and local history museum.
“The region finished 2011 with positive social and economic parameters. 1 mln 319 thousand tons of oil have been produced in the region, oil production growth made 2,5 %,” Head of Cheremshan municipal region Nurkhamet Khamidullin noted.
The region’s leadership puts much emphasis on development of agricultural sector. More than 145 mln roubles have been invested in this industry in 2011. According to the region’s head a large amount of works was fulfilled on repair of objects of social-cultural sphere.
9030 m² of housing has been commissioned in the region.
Nurkhamet Khamidullin also focused on acute problems of the region. In particular, more efficient work should be implemented on developing small business, solving problems of unemployment, providing health care industry with doctors, taking certain measures on optimization of educational institutions.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
