Vladimir Putin meets with Rustam Minnikhanov in Naberezhnye Chelny

On February, 15 the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin held a bilateral meeting with the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting took place in an emergency hospital of the Auto town after the meeting on issues of realization of demographic policy for the period till 2025 and regional programs on health care modernization in 2011.
Vladimir Putin noted that Tatarstan is the leader by many parameters among Russian regions.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov informed that high-tech production is very important for Tatarstan leadership. “We believe that development of KAMAZ, special economic zone, oil chemical enterprises, Kama industrial cluster will give us more money and new jobs,” Rustam Minnikhanov said addressing Vladimir Putin.
As for the social projects of republic Rustam Minnikhanov focused on housing construction and major repair of schools.
Head of republic also told about the need for developing primary health care.
President of Tatarstan assured Vladimir Putin that all allocated funds for the program of health care modernization will have been drawn in republic by September.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Vladimir Putin for federal programs. By words of RT President republic participates in all programs. This leads to positive changes in Tatarstan economy.
In the course of meeting Vladimir Putin presented the Stolypin Medal to the first RT President and State Counselor of republic Mntimer Shaimiev.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
