Rustam Minnikhanov meets with participants of All-Russia forum of agencies on assessment of conformity in the sphere of technical regulation

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with participants of All-Russia forum of agencies on assessment of conformity in the sphere of technical regulation.

The meeting was held in the House of RT Government with participation of first deputy PM Ravil Muratov, RT Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, RT Minister of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.

Deputy RF Minister of industry and trade Vladimir Salamatov, deputy RF minister of economic development Oleg Fomichev arrived in Kazan to take part in the forum.

Greeting attendees of the event Rustam Minnikhanov noted that activity of accreditation, certification agencies, testing laboratories (centers) is very important for ensuring safety of production, and implementation of technical regulations. Tatarstan with its developed industrial sector is especially interested in work of agencies on assessment of conformity in the sphere of technical regulation.

In particular, KAMAZ testing laboratory has gained wide experience within realization of approved technical regulations in motor industry. RT President informed that on February, 15 opening of an important enterprise – joint production of combines with Case New Holland (CNH) took place in Naberezhnye Chelny at JSC KAMAZ. The Russian-Italian enterprise “CNH-Kazan industry” is located on the area of 47 thousand m².

We remind All-Russia forum of agencies on assessment of conformity in the sphere of technical regulation is held in Kazan (KRK “Korston”) on February 16-17, 2012.

The following topics will be discussed at the event “The system of technical regulation of the Customs union – new opportunities of integration in the former Soviet Union”, “Single system of accreditation in Russia: formation of regulations for accreditation, international recognition of the system, functioning of the system in the context of WTO”, “Role of industry in creation of the system of technical regulation of the Customs union”.
