Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in video conference on issues of performing orders of the Russian President

Issues connected with housing provision for veterans of Great Patriotic War, functioning of housing and utilities complex, fight against corruption and short-lived companies have been discussed today at a meeting on issues of performing orders of President of the Russian Federation. The meeting in format of video conference with all subjects of federation was held by RF President Dmitry Medvedev.
President of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the event (video conference hall, the Kazan Kremlin).
Opening the meeting Dmitry Medvedev stated that work on improvement of living conditions of war veterans is being implemented in all regions. Activity is being realized in accordance with RF President Order dated 7.05.2007. By words of Dmitry Medvedev 62 bln roubles were allocated for implementation of this program in 2011.
RF Minister of regional development Viktor Basargin made the main report about the work on improving veterans’ living conditions.
Spokesmen of leadership of St.Petersburg and Pskov region reported on the current situation.
Summarizing outcomes of performing orders of the Russian President on the matter Dmitry Medvedev reminded that realization of the program must be finished in a short time. Funding is provided in the budget, he said.
First deputy Chairman of RF Government Viktor Zubkov informed that a working group on suppression of illegal financial operations and illegal outflow of funds abroad was organized within performance of orders of the head of state. “Long-term, systemic work must be arranged in this issue, fight against illegal financial operations must be accomplished on a permanent basis,” Dmitry Medvedev said.
Later on participants of the conference discussed the problem of using regional maternal capital and providing free land plots to large families.
“Issues of support rendered to large families must be carefully controlled by heads of regions. This problem must be taken into account upon formation of regional budgets,“ Dmitry Medvedev stated.
On March 10, the third meeting of the organizing committee on preparation and holding of the 20th anniversary Russian Venture Forum 2026 to be held in Kazan from April 8 to 10, chaired by Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov and with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and co-chair of the forum’s organizing committee Aleksey Pesoshin, President of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov, Director of the Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan Damir Galiev as well as representatives of federal and regional authorities, development institutions and partner organizations via videoconference, took place.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
