Rustam Minnikhanov: Sarmanovsky region lives thanks to positive outcomes and new hopes

Advent of new enterprises in Sarmanovsky region speaks about its attractiveness for business, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated at a session of the local Council.

Before the session head of republic had visited two enterprises and social service center “Shavkat” located in Sarmanovo.

Head of the region Nafis Zakirov made a report on outcomes of social and economic development of Sarmanovsky municipal region in 2011 and tasks for 2012. He informed that volume of gross territorial product made 15 bln roubles in 2011, volume of shipped goods, fulfilled works and services - 2,7 bln roubles, industrial production index accounted for 100 %, capital investment increased by 33% and made 3,65 bln roubles. Average salary in Sarmanovsky region increased by 15% and made 15,7 thousand roubles.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov noted positive changes happening in the region. He told about economic development of republic, new big industrial projects.

“Developed industry is a great competitive advantage of Tatarstan. But people for us play the most important role,” RT President stressed. In order to develop human potential the Republic’s leadership is involved in modernization of educational, health care spheres, pays much attention to demographic problems.

Head of Tatarstan informed that due to made efforts for the first time during 20 years natural population increase had been fixed in republic in 2011.

He also reminded about big programs realized in the republic such as provision of housing for veteran of Great Patriotic War, major repair of housing, health care modernization. Realization of the mentioned programs is possible due to support of the federal center, Rustam Minnikhanov noted.

Summing up, Rustam Minnikhanov said that the visit to Sarmanovsky region had made good impressions on him. “Sarmanovsky region lives thanks to positive outcomes and new hopes,“ RT President stated.
