Rustam Minnikhanov: Tyulyachinsky region has to set new tasks

The leadership of Tyulyachinsky region has to set new tasks in order to realize the region’s potential, RT President Rustam Minnikhanov said at a session of the Council of Tyulyachinsky municipal region.
Head of the region Ildus Zaripov made a report on outcomes of social-economic development in 2011 and tasks for 2012. He informed that the volume of produced and shipped goods, fulfilled works and services made 4,8 bln roubles in 2011. Capital investment of big and medium enterprises accounted for 366 mln roubles. Average salary in the region was 14760 roubles.
Ildus Zaripov told about main investment projects noting that expansion of tax base and recruitment of investors are priority objectives of the region’s authorities for the next few years.
RT President Rustam Minnikhanov agreed that Tyulyachinsky region has got potential for development. He thinks an important advantage of the region is close location to Kazan.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov it is necessary to develop small and medium-size business, minor forms of agriculture using all support programs available in Tatarstan. He added as well that agro-industrial complex is the main form of economic activity in Tyulyachinsky region.
By words of Rustam Minnikhanov demographic problem is still the main one in the region. He confirmed that the republican leadership is ready to support rural areas, be engaged in developing social infrastructure in order to maintain way of life, provide new jobs, and improve quality of life.
RT President thanked deputies of the Council for work in 2011 wishing new achievements in 2012 and granted several awards to some residents.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
