Ildar Khalikov takes part in session of the Council of Vysokogorsky municipal region

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov took part in session of the Council of Vysokogorsky municipal region. Outcomes of social-economic development of the region in 2011 and tasks for 2012 were discussed at the session. Head of the region Rustam Kalimullin was the principal speaker at the event.

He informed that in 2011 the industrial production index made 98,6 % the volume of shipped goods of the region’s enterprises - 3,78 bln roubles. The share of incomings in local budget from large enterprises accounted for 33 %, from medium-size and small enterprises - 51 %, from budget organizations – 14 %.

Average salary in the region has increased by 19 % and made 16389 roubles. Overall agricultural production in Vysokogorsky region made 1,3 bln roubles in 2011. About 40 % of agricultural products is the share of private households. 13 family farms are functioning in the region and 5 more are being constructed.

Chairman of republican government Ildar Khalikov told about economic achievements of Tatarstan in 2011. By words of RT Prime Minister gross regional product of the republic made 1,25 trillion roubles in 2011. By the way, the rate is increasing due to traditional enterprises and new major projects.

The PM noted that purposeful work on modernization and improvement of health care is being implemented in republic. More than 8 bln roubles were allocated for these purposes last year.

By words of Prime Minister active lifestyle, physical culture and sport are very important issues as well. He also noted the importance of medical examination as a method of reliable prophylaxis and timely detection of diseases. Education is another priority sphere in republic, he said.

Ildar Khalikov informed that Tatarstan and Russian leadership pay special attention to support of agriculture. By words of the PM republic is an absolute leader by receiving federal funds allocated for this sphere. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov personally controls this issue.

Ildar Khalikov reminded about other major social and economic projects being realized in Tatarstan. In particular, major repair of multi-apartment houses, construction of housing for veterans of Great Patriotic War, relocation of citizens from unfit housing, social mortgage program.
