RT State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev presents diplomas to winners of the contest “Benefactor of 2011” in nomination “Socially responsible media”

State Counselor of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of board of guardians of “Vozrozhdenie” Fund Mintimer Shaimiev thanked everyone who is actively involved in charitable actions and events held in republic. “By starting from some insignificant things, initiating good deeds, we obtained the response, our multi-ethnic people heard the call for doing good,” Mintimer Shaimiev said at the official ceremony of awarding the winners of Republican contest for title «Benefactor of 2011».

The event was held in M.Jalil Tatar academic state opera and ballet theatre with participation of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov, representatives of RT ministries and agencies, chiefs of municipal regions, heads of large industrial enterprises, directors of nursing homes, social orphanages, orphan children, and families with adopted children.

Mintimer Shaimiev stressed that the wish to do good deeds possesses people’s mind and more benefactors appear year by year.
