Mintimer Shaimiev meets with OSCE observer Alken Ib Villi

RT State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev has met in Kremlin with Alken Ib Villi – an official of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) of Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
Alken Ib Villi arrived from Denmark in the beginning of February as a foreign observer accredited in RF Central election commission in accordance with the Federal law “On elections of President of the Russian Federation”.
Alken Ib Villi shared out his impressions with Mintimer Shaimiev about Tatarstan and Kazan. He noted that during his visit to Tatarstan with his colleague, observer of OSCE Voorhuitzen Will Genit Ian from Netherlands they got acquainted with activity of Central election commission of the republic, commissions for preparation and holding elections, held meetings with representatives of political parties, public organizations and mass media.
RT State Counselor told the distinguished guest about the history of democratic reforms in the republic and explained how and why he had become a trustee of the candidate for Presidency V.V.Putin.
Mintimer Shaimiev and Alken Ib Villi exchanged opinions about holding of the election campaign in republic.
Chairman of RT Central election commission Anatoly Fomin was present at the meeting.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
