On the threshold of March, 8 Rustam Minnikhanov meets with women representing mass media of the Republic of Tatarstan

Information field is becoming more important today, thus the role of mass media representatives who convey information to population is growing. Such a statement has been made by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov today at a meeting with women journalists.
Such meetings with the Head of republic on the threshold of international day of the 8th of March have become traditional for women working in federal, republican and municipal mass media of Tatarstan.
Rustam Minnikhanov believes that it is a good opportunity to have a talk in less official atmosphere, express those ideas which cannot always be conveyed on TV or in printed press.
The latest events have showed that authorities do not work well enough today in terms of conveying accurate and necessary information, RT President said. Thus, the role of mass media is growing.
Rustam Minnikhanov also focused on distribution of information in social network services. He thinks that everyone must realize responsibility for his own words. As for rallies being held throughout the country, in opinion of Rustam Minnikhanov many people just want to benefit from this situation.
Rustam Minnikhanov considers natural population growth to be an important achievement of Tatarstan in 2011. Life duration has also increased, that speaks about improvement of life quality and rendering of high-tech medical services to population.
Speaking about plans for next years, RT President reminded that realization of the program on major repair of multi-apartment houses and schools will be continued in republic. Repair of polyclinics and first-aid stations is meant to be implemented as well.
Rustam Minnikhanov alleged that he has a positive opinion about integration of clinics and creation of big medical centers. Ideology of big medical centers proves its value since it provides consolidation of highly skilled personnel and maximum usage of modern medical equipment.
During the conversation with RT President journalists raised such questions as the lack of sign language interpreters in ministries and agencies, and inefficient teaching of the Tatar language at schools.
Answering the question connected with small amount of women in political sphere, RT President said that business and politics is a big deal which requires a lot of efforts and much time. “Politics and family are hardly compatible things,” he added.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
