Potential of Tatarstan defence industry complex presented to Acting Russian Minister of industry and trade

Acting RF Minister of industry and trade Denis Manturov has got acquainted with produce and advanced projects of Tatarstan enterprises of the defence industry complex.
Acting Head of RF Ministry of industry and trade was accompanied by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at the Kazan helicopter plant.
Brand-new machines with digital control were presented to Denis Manturov in a machine workshop. The equipment was purchased within the program on production modernization, a part of it is being currently assembled.
Denis Manturov also visited a workshop of composite materials and saw production of blades for helicopters.
Guests looked over helicopters being engineered for India in the assembly workshop.
Produce and projects of other Tatarstan enterprises of the defence industry complex were presented at a special exhibition.
Denis Manturov and Rustam Minnikhanov passed around expositions of 23 enterprises.
Acting Head of RF Ministry of industry and trade was interested both in military and civil developments. In particular, a high-speed passenger vessel A145 built at Gorky Zelenodolsk plant attracted his interest.
Rustam Minnikhanov focused on necessary support of shipping companies in purchasing new passenger vessels.
Denis Manturov and Rustam Minnikhanov then attended the session of Coordination council on industry.
On March 10, the third meeting of the organizing committee on preparation and holding of the 20th anniversary Russian Venture Forum 2026 to be held in Kazan from April 8 to 10, chaired by Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov and with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and co-chair of the forum’s organizing committee Aleksey Pesoshin, President of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov, Director of the Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan Damir Galiev as well as representatives of federal and regional authorities, development institutions and partner organizations via videoconference, took place.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
