President of Tatarstan inspects construction of new stadium in Kazan

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the construction site of a new football stadium for 45 000 seats and held a working meeting in the site office on issues of the stadium equipping on March 16. Tatarstan Premier Ildar Khalikov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in the event.
Before the meeting Head of Tatarstan inspected the construction works. First metal structures for sheds have already been installed above the stands. Variants of chairs for stands were offered to Rustam Minnikhanov in the site office. “It is one of the main facilities at the stadium. Chairs must be firm and comfortable,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
At the meeting the Director of football stadium Radik Minnakhmetov presented the infrastructure concept of new sport object. Shopping and entertainment centers, children’s park, restaurant, night club, sport bar, football store, museum of FC “Rubin” are meant to be located at the stadium.
In general, Rustam Minnikhanov supported the suggested concept. However, he marked that realization of these ideas would be rather expensive.
Head of Tatarstan asked to define infrastructure elements that can be funded at the expense of a managing company and those needed attraction of investors.
Attendees of the meeting discussed variants of illumination and equipping with different systems and facilities. By each item Rustam Minnikhanov gave assignment to select equal variants and present them for consideration on a competitive basis to define the minimum price.
Head of Tatarstan also suggested presenting some works for outsourcing in order to reduce construction expenses.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
