Rustam Minnikhanov and Viktor Basargin discuss participation of Tatarstan in several federal programs

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with the Russian Minister of regional development Viktor Basargin during his working trip to Moscow.
The parties discussed process of major repair of multi-apartment houses in republic, results of activity of construction and housing-communal complex in 2011, housing construction in 2012 within the framework of commercial and social mortgage, creation of engineering infrastructure, and construction of several social objects.
Rustam Minnikhanov told about realization of such programs as repair of policlinics and comprehensive institutions, “clean water” in Tatarstan this year. Moreover, realization of the federal program “Home” is one of mechanisms of state support.
Rustam Minnikhanov and Viktor Basargin also discussed participation of Tatarstan mono-towns in certain federal programs (i.e “Home”, repair of multi-apartment houses).
In the nearest time the Russian ministry of regional development is going to hold All-Russia meeting dedicated to further development of mono-towns in the country.
Tatarstan advanced the initiative to organize the event in one of the republican mono-towns (Naberezhnye Chelny, Chistopol, Kamskie Polyany).
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
