Airat Shafigullin: republican system of social support of population is constantly improving

Social protection agencies render more than 70 kinds of state services to 1 mln 340 thousand citizens every month in the Republic of Tatarstan. Total volume of funds allocated for different social benefits makes 11 bln roubles.

Such a data was cited by RT Minister of labor, employment and social protection Airat Shafigullin at a briefing in the RT Government House.

The video conference briefing with participation of all municipal regions was dedicated to new measures of social support of RT citizens.

The republican system of social support of population is constantly improving, Airat Shafigullin marked. To the point, a set of normative legal acts of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan stipulating extra measures of social support of certain categories of citizens came into force in 2012.

In particular, the federal law № 306 ФЗ dated as of 7.11. 2011 “About money allowances of military personnel and assignment of certain subsidies” in terms of assignment of monthly payments to compensate harm to health, a serviceman or a citizen called up for military training who becomes disabled owing to military injury.

Head of RT Ministry of labor, employment and social protection told about measures being implemented in republic to simplify the process of collecting references for disabled people.

Thus, exchange of information (data bases) among social protection agencies and organizations of medical-social assessment has been arranged. He reminded as well that 300 thousand disabled people now receive social benefits in Tatarstan.
