Preparation of project of “New Tura” technopolis discussed in RT Government House

Issues of preparing the detailed project of “New Tura” technopolis near Kazan city have been discussed at a meeting chaired by first RT vice-premier Ravil Muratov in the RT Government House today.
“New Tura” technopolis is meant to be situated in Zelenodolsk region near M7 highway and motor road “Kazan-Zelenodolsk”.
The technopolis will comprise educational institutions and centers, research laboratories, high-tech enterprises working in the sphere of services, and industrial enterprises.
Creation of the technopolis is aimed at diversification of Zelenodolsk economy, innovative development of trade, services and hospitality spheres. “New Tura” is meant to be an anchor complex investment enterprise in Zelenodolsk town.
Its innovative infrastructure will contain branches of sectoral higher educational institutions, study rooms, research laboratories. Wholesale and retail trade pavilions with total area of 300 thousand m², a hotel center for 650 places, a center for processing agro-industrial produce of Tatarstan households and farms will also be located on the site.
First RT vice-premier marked great prospects of the project stressing the importance of its successful realization.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
