Ildar Khalikov: 831 settlements do not have roads with hard covering in Tatarstan

According to the data for January, 1, 2012, 831 settlements do not have roads with hard covering in the Republic of Tatarstan, Acting RT President – Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov informed at the board session of the Russian ministry of transport (Moscow).
Answering journalists’ questions, Ildar Khalikov marked that roads with hard covering were earlier built in 20-25 settlements annually, in 2011 – in 60 settlements. It was possible due to federal support and extra funding allocated in accordance with the assignment of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov.
“This problem is still the most urgent for republic and we are not going to slow down,” Ildar Khalikov said.
Plans on changing the park of public transport throughout the country were discussed at the session. Specialists of RF Ministry of transport addressed federal Government with request to launch a program on changing urban autopark. The program is meant to be realized jointly with regions.
Continuation of realization of the program “Available environment” aimed at providing comfortable conditions for travelling and improvement of life quality of handicapped people was also discussed at the meeting.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “

There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
