Tatarstan implements the Concept of citizens’ training for military service ahead of schedule

The Central contest commission for summarizing the contest among RF subjects for best citizens’ training for military service, organization and holding of military draft has started working in Tatarstan today. The work began from participation in a session of RT Draft commission chaired by deputy Head of the commission, first vice RT Prime Minister Ravil Muratov.
Chairman of the Central contest commission for summarizing the contest among RF subjects for best citizens’ training for military service, organization and holding of military draft, deputy Head of Chief organizing-mobilization department of General HQ of RF Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Sergei Nikolenko, military commissar of RT Sergei Pogodin and other officials attended the event.
Within three days the commission is going to visit Naberezhnye Chelny and Chistopol besides Kazan, in order to check up activities on citizens’ training for military service and draft. The commission will inspect results achieved during citizens’ training for military service and organization of the draft in 2011.
For the sixth time Tatarstan takes part in the contest, Ravil Muratov reminded. In the first year republic took the second place, and was the winner four times afterwards. In accordance with the Decree of the Military council of the Central military district dated 10.02.2012, by results of work in the Central military district, Tatarstan has taken the first place and is nominated for participation in the current contest.
Sergei Nikolenko marked that Tatarstan bids for taking the first place in the contest again.
“You implement the Concept of the federal system of training RF citizens for military service ahead of schedule. I often present Tatarstan as an example in the sphere of draftees’ training,” Head of the commission stressed.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
