Specialized exhibition and congress “Clean water. Kazan” open in Kazan

Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov attended the ceremony of opening III specialized exhibition and congress “Clean water. Kazan”. The event is held at the exhibition center “Kazanskaya Yarmarka” (Kazan).
Welcoming guests and participants of the exhibition, Ildar Khalikov noted that such events become more popular year by year. It is important that the event focuses both on quality of water and scientific solutions in this sphere.
Ildar Khalikov reminded that the republican program on improving water supply and disposal systems in towns and regions for the long-term perspective is being realized in Tatarstan. Solid funds are allocated to provide high-quality water to population.
“We are going to use Russian and world experience and would like to offer our own solutions that can be useful for other Russian regions,” Ildar Khalikov addressed attendees of the ceremony.
Director of the Center of international industrial cooperation of the UNIDO in RF Sergei Korotkov, Chief of the Lower Volga basin water department under the Federal Agency for water resources Anatoly Bykov addressed participants of the exhibition with welcoming speech.
Later on, RT Premier Ildar Khalikov and distinguished guests looked over the exposition organized by 70 enterprises from 15 Russian and foreign cities.
The whole range of equipment and services for renewal and protection of water resources, communal and industrial water supply, repair of pipelines, heating and hot water supply systems, sewage treatment, butylation of water is presented on the stand.
A plenary session “Development of water sphere of Russia” was held after the official opening of the event.
To the point, the exhibition and the congress “Clean water. Kazan” is organized in the context of the federal target program “Clean water” for 2011-2017 approved by the RF Government decree.
Director of the Center of international industrial cooperation of the UNIDO in RF Sergei Korotkov, Chief of the Lower Volga basin water department of the Federal Agency for water resources Anatoly Bykov, Chairman of the “Russian water society” Board Alexandr Katkov, Acting Tatarstan minister of construction, architecture, housing and utilities Aleksei Frolov, Chairman of RT State Council committee for economy, investments and entrepreneurship Marat Galeev attended the event.
The exhibition and the congress “Clean water. Kazan” are open till April 5.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
