1,1 mln state services rendered to population in electronic format in March 2012 in Tatarstan

Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov held a meeting on transfer to rendering state, municipal and socially important services in electronic format. The meeting was held in RT Government House with participation of relevant ministries and agencies.

Vice RT Prime Minister – Minister of informatization and communications Nikolai Nikiforov presented main report on fulfilled work and results of first quarter of 2012. He informed that 98 services are now rendered in electronic format on the Portal of state services (www.uslugi.tatarstan.ru) in Tatarstan. In March 2012 1,1 mln state services were rendered to population in electronic format.

Contribution of ministries in total amount of services is as follows: RT Ministry of the interior – 46%, RT Ministry of health care – 14%, RT Ministry of education and science – 13%, RT Ministry of labor, employment and social protection – 7%.

Ildar Khalikov marked that the percent of services rendered in housing and utilizes sphere is low.

The Head of RT Ministry of communications told about new option available on RT Portal of state services - “personal account”. Since April 1, 2012 once registered on the portal in section “personal account” a user can make e-payments quicker with banking cards and use other services in electronic format.

According to Nikolai Nikiforov, the economic effect from using services in electronic format by population made 3,1 mln man-hours in first quarter of 2012.

RT Ministry of communications informed about new services available in electronic format, - submission of application for receiving land plots by large families, for participation in the republican educational program “Algarysh”, payment of all GIBDD fines at once (not every fine separately).

Moreover, mobile applications for obtaining services and notifications in electronic format using smartphones are at the testing stage. It is expected that they will become available in May.
