Rustam Minnikhanov meets with chiefs of veterans’ organizations

The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has met with chairman of the public charitable organization “Heroes of Tatarstan” Ildus Mostyukov, chairman of the Public organization of veterans (disabled war veterans) and military service of the Republic of Tatarstan Akhat Yulashev, and chairman of the Republican council of the Public organization of veterans (pensioners) Khabir Ishtiryakov.
First RT vice-premier Ravil Muratov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Aide to RT President on social issues Tatiana Larionova took part in the meeting.
Opening the event, Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that a number of programs on supporting veterans is realized in Tatarstan, one of them is construction of housing.
Head of republic asked attendees to make their proposals and comments on the program realization.
The Tatarstan President highly appreciated work of veterans’ organizations noting their efficient onsite work and variety of activities.
According to chairman of the Republican council of the Public organization of veterans (pensioners) Khabir Ishtiryakov, preparation of forthcoming celebrations dated to 67th anniversary of the victory in Great Patriotic War and other issues connected with life of veterans and activity of veterans’ public organizations in Tatarstan were discussed at the meeting.
Khabir Ishtiryakov also suggested organizing events dated to 25th anniversary of the Council.
Rustam Minnikhanov supported the idea and addressed Ravil Muratov and Tatiana Larionova with request to render necessary support.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
