The trip of the Tatarstan delegation to Luxemburg opens new opportunities for cooperation, President of the Republic of Tatarstan stated during the visit to Luxemburg Chamber of Commerce.
To the point, the Tatarstan delegation led by Rustam Minnikhanov is now in the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg on a short-term working trip (April 9-10, 2012).
The Tatarstan-Luxemburg round table and the presentation of economic and investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan were organized in the Chamber of Commerce.
Speaking to participants of the event, Rustam Minnikhanov marked that the trip to Luxemburg had been planned long before. He believes that efficient activity of both the embassies played an important role.
Rustam Minnikhanov suggested organizing a visit of Luxemburg business delegation to Tatarstan in order to consolidate relations and for businessmen to see and assess economic potential of republic. Tatarstan is an attractive region for making investments and running business, he said.
An advertising video about Tatarstan and presentation of Luxemburg economy and several companies were shown to attendees of the round table.
Rustam Minnikhanov is accompanied by vice RT Prime Minister - RT Minister of informatization and communications Nikolai Nikiforov, Director of the Department for external relations – Aide to RT President on international issues Iskander Muflikhanov, Chief of the RT Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, Board chairman of OAO Ak Bars Bank Robert Minnegaliev, first vice Minister of industry and trade Igor Nosov, Tatarstan official in Czech and Slovak Republics Zufar Abdulgaleev.
On 14 February, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of the Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed that 561 courtyards are to be improve within the Our Yard programme in the republic in 2026.
In his address on the occasion of the Russian Science Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated scientists, researchers and lecturers of the republic with the event and wrote: “Science has always been and remains one of the main driving forces of progress and foundation for the development of economy, social sphere and education. Due to your talent, work and dedication to your vocation Tatarstan occupies the leading positions in many scientific spheres starting from petrochemical and IT technologies to biotechnologies and materials engineering. Today, based on glorious traditions of Russian and Tatarstan scientists, you are making a substantial contribution into ensuring scientific and technological sovereignty of Russia and solve the most important tasks of import replacement, digitalization and sustainable development.
On February 3, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of opening XXI All-Russia competitions in fire-rescue sports for the Cup of the Tatarstan Prime Minister, held in the gym of the Chief Department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for Tatarstan with participation of 21 teams from various regions of Russia - a total of about 430 people.
On 31 January, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin reported that capital overhaul of nine school in eight municipalities of the republic has started.
