The 12th specialized exhibition “Education. Career” opened in the exhibition center “Kazanskaya Yarmarka” today. Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov took part in a solemn opening ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ildar Khalikov marked that it is just the very exhibition which gathers more visitors.
“Education and training of professional staff play a special role for Tatarstan. Republic has solid economic potential in oil, petrochemical and engineering industries and is one of the most dynamically developing regions in Russia. Thus, we need professional up-to-date personnel,” Ildar Khalikov believes.
The PM is sure that this exhibition will help employers to establish contacts with educational institutions, pupils and students to find job or choose future profession. He wished participants and guests of the event successful work.
Ildar Khalikov, RT Minister of labor, employment and social protection Airat Shafigullin, Minister of education and science Albert Gilmutdinov and Chairman of the Federation of labor unions Tatiana Vodopianova cut a symbolic ribbon. Prime Minister looked over stands of recruiting enterprises, universities and spoke to visitors.
More than 120 exhibitors including higher educational institutions, educational centers, institutions of secondary professional education, employment centers, industrial enterprises, recruitment agencies and publishing companies take part in today’s exhibition.
Educational institutions of Kazan, Moscow, St. Petersburg and other Russian cities are presented at the exhibition. Education abroad is a separate section.
The fair of vacancies organized by the city employment service is traditionally open.
The following areas will be presented on April 11-12: “Trade, service, hospitality”, “Mechanical engineering”, “oil production, petrochemistry, oil processing”, “Construction, architecture, housing and utilities”, “Aircraft building”, “Transport and road construction”.
