Rustam Minnikhanov meets with Ambassador of Indonesia in Russia

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia in Russia Jauhari Oratmangun.
Director of the Department for external relations – Aide to RT President on international issues Iskander Muflikhanov, Tatarstan minister of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Chief of the RT Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov took part in the meeting in the Kazan Kremlin.
Jauhari Oratmangun visits Tatarstan as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia in Russia for the first time.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov, events within the confines of Russia’s chairmanship in APEC will be held in May in Kazan. “We hope Indonesian delegation will visit Kazan and acquaint with our achievements in the context of these events,” RT President said.
Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that Tatarstan exports helicopters, spare parts, rubber, metallic and plastic items, washing agents to Indonesia.
Director of the Department for external relations – Aide to RT President on international issues Iskander Muflikhanov informed that Indonesia becomes more important in Southeastern Asia.
In particular, HQ of ASEAN comprising countries with population of more than 500 mln people and GDP of 3 trillion dollars will be located in Jakarta. Thus, the Tatarstan President focused on promoting mutually beneficial cooperation between Indonesia and Tatarstan.
RT President gave assignment to work out possible meeting of the Tatarstan and Indonesian delegations at the annual investment forum in Dubai. An extended business mission is also expected to attend the forum KAZANSUMMIT in May.
Moreover, Rustam Minnikhanov ordered to prepare a business trip of the Tatarstan delegation to Indonesia.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
