President of Tatarstan visits cottage settlement and educational center in Kaluga oblast

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has visited a cottage settlement “Voskresenskoe” and an educational center for training and retraining staff for auto industry during his working trip to the Kaluga oblast.
The cottage settlement “Voskresenskoe” is being constructed within the limits of the regional program “Housing for professionals”. 1500 individual houses are to be constructed on the area of 180 hectares. 200 houses with complete infrastructure have been already commissioned. A comprehensive school for 630 children opened here last year. Houses are purchased by employees of enterprises, residents of the industrial park Grabtsevo.
RT President believes that such an experience can be used in realization of the republican housing programs.
The educational center for training and retraining staff for auto industry was created on the basis of Kaluga colleges and is one of the advanced institutions of professional education in the Kaluga oblast. Educational programs were created according to orders of partner enterprises, mainly auto companies of the region.
The German concern “Volkswagen” and French “Peugeot – Citroën” provide equipment, pay scholarships to students and bonuses to teachers, and organize internship for teachers abroad.
Members of the Tatarstan delegation looked over training and production premises, where students learn to work on machines, electronic equipment, and model production lines.
Chiefs of the college invited Tatarstan enterprises to cooperation. Rustam Minnikhanov was interested in Kaluga experience and promised to send specialists to make more detailed analysis.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
