Rustam Minnikhanov: Kaluga is number one in working with investors

The Republic of Tatarstan is quite interested in experience of the Kaluga oblast in the sphere of attraction of investors.

Such a statement was made by the RT President Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting with the Governor of the Kaluga oblast Anatoly Artamonov. The meeting was held in Kaluga during the working trip of the Tatarstan President.

Anatoly Artamonov thanked Rustam Minnikhanov and members of the Tatarstan delegation for visiting the region.

Anatoly Artamonov told that Tatarstan experience in working with investors, social and agricultural spheres has been used in the Kaluga oblast.

The Tatarstan President said that he had seen many interesting things during the current working trip. He believes that practices of the Kaluga oblast in social maintenance of new enterprises and professional education may be useful for republic.

“Kaluga is number one in working with investors. You fulfill a very difficult work which requires many efforts. We really appreciate it,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He thanked leadership of the region for hospitality and wished success.

Economic potential of Tatarstan and Kaluga oblast was presented at the meeting. Development of auto enterprises KAMAZ and JE Ford – Sollers were discussed in details.
Moreover, Rustam Minnikhanov and Anatoly Artamonov focused on issues of social policy.

In the interview after the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that both regions must defend their interests in the federal center as the members of the Association of innovative regions of Russia.
