Rustam Minnikhanov: We should envisage new strategic areas of developing relations with Schneider Electric

The Agreement on rendering educational services has been signed between Schneider Electric and the Kazan state power engineering university. Deputy director general of ZAO Schneider Electric in Russia and CIS Valery Sazhenkov and Acting rector of the Kazan state power engineering university Edward Abdullazyanov put signatures on the document.
The Agreement was signed at the RT Government House in presence of President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Schneider Electric Supervision council Anri Lackmann, President of Schneider Electric in Russia and CIS Jean-Louis Stasi.
Before the signing ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov and Anri Lackmann had discussed further interaction of Tatarstan and Schneider Electric in the sphere of energetics, promotion of the company’s produce at the republican market and in other regions.
To the point, the enterprise Schneider Electric (Kazan) is currently functioning in Tatarstan. Electrotechnical and electronic equipment for industrial use is produced at the enterprise. The company is establishing relationships with republican higher educational institutions, in particular with the Kazan state power engineering university.
“We should envisage new strategic areas of developing relations with Schneider Electric. Tatarstan is a developed industrial region with large amount of work in the construction sphere. We have to promote Schneider Electric produce, offer complex solutions especially in the sphere of energy resource saving,” Rustam Minnikhanov stated at the meeting with Anri Lackmann.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
