Management of Eidos company initiates realization of project “Medical-biological technopark” in Tatarstan

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with management of Eidos company. The meeting was held at the RT Government House with participation of deputy RT Prime Minister – Communications Minister Nikolay Nikiforov, Aide to RT President Anatoly Krasnov, Minister of architecture, construction and housing Irek Faizullin, Chairman of “Ak Bars” Bank Board Robert Musin.
Director general of OOO Eidos Ramil Gainutdinov briefly told about the company and its innovative activity at the Russian market.
The company produces equipment and simulators. It has been presented at the market for three years. Four main activities of OOO Eidos are production of auto simulators (training of civil and military drivers), production of simulators for needs of the emergency ministry (simulation of emergency situations, exercising of behavior in emergency situations), production of specialized robots, medical simulators. The last area was opened in 2011. The project “Eidos medicine” was approved by the Skolkovo expert board and became its resident.
Director general of OOO Eidos Ramil Gainutdinov advanced an initiative of implementing the project “Medical-biological technopark” in Tatarstan. It is expected that such organizations as Educational center of high medical technologies (http://www.kazanmedcenter.com), foreign and domestic medical companies, innovative companies are potential residents of the technopark. An incubator for investment projects, a conference hall, a hotel for specialists, and representative offices of medical universities will also be located at the area of 20 thousand m².
Main idea of creating such a Medical-biological technopark is further development of medicine, substitution of foreign medicines for domestic ones, improvement of domestic medicine in general.
We are searching for a reliable partner for realization of this investment project, Ramil Gainutdinov said. The Covidien company (equipment for laparoscopy, endoscopy, resuscitation and anaesthetic measures, HQ in USA) is ready to become a partner, he noted.
RT President Rustam Minnikhanov said that republic is ready to consider the project more carefully and render necessary support. He addressed Communications Minister Nikolay Nikiforov and Minister of architecture, construction and housing Irek Faizullin with requirement to study the project and offer variants for implementing the project “Medical-biological technopark” on the territory of Tatarstan.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
