Tatarstan PM meets with officials of Pressalit Care and V.Guldmann A/S

Prospects of cooperation of Tatarstan with Pressalit Care and V.Guldmann A/S in the sphere of procurement of equipment for people with limited mobility in the contest of program “Available environment” were discussed at a meeting of RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov with officials of the companies.

The meeting was held at the RT Government House with participation of RT Minister of labor, employment and social protection Airat Shafigullin and Minister of health Airat Farrakhov.

Ildar Khalikov told about implementation of the program “Available environment” in republic.
“Available environment” is not just the equipment but change of the social attitude to disabled people,” he stressed.

According to the PM, the program will let facing 70-percent availability level of medical objects and 60-percent availability level of social objects. Thus, Tatarstan will be the leader in Russia by the mentioned parameters.

In particular, officials of Pressalit Care and V.Guldmann A/S offered elevators for relocation of disabled people in medical institutions, swimming pools and flats.

Ildar Khalikov confirmed interest in cooperation with foreign companies and reminded that sanitary ware of Pressalit Care company for the disabled is already procured to medical and other institutions of Tatarstan.

In addition, the Tatarstan Prime Minister informed official of the companies about unsolved problems in providing availability for disabled people.
