Mikhail Babich: All regions of Volga Federal District are interested in cooperation with Chinese partners

Cooperation in innovative sector of the economy is becoming important today within the limits of Russian-Chinese relationships, since it is widely known how much this sector is developed in the People’s Republic of China.
Such a statement was made by plenipotentiary of RF President in the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich at a “round table” on interregional cooperation with participation of leaders of Russian and Chinese regions.
The “round table” session took place in GTRK Korston (Kazan).
Vice-premier of State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang, members of representative Chinese delegation, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Governor of Nizhny Novgorod oblast Valery Shantsev, Governor of Penza oblast Vasily Bochkarev, Governor of Saratov oblast Valery Radaev, Governor of Ylyanovsk oblast Sergey Morozov, Mayor of Samara Dmitry Azarov, Chairman of Ufa State Council Evgeny Semivelichenko, acting Mayor of Kazan Irshat Minkin and others attended the event.
“We understand that the activity on creating modern innovative products can be rather successful in Russia,” Mikhail Babich said.
Plenipotentiary of RF President in VFD reminded that from July, 1 all state and municipal services in RF must be rendered in electronic format. He believes that it will increase efficiency of rendering state services to population and business, and provide transparency in relations with potential investors.
Mikhail Babich marked that some regions have considerably progressed in development and adoption of innovations, noting Tatarstan among them. Tatarstan has also developed relationships with China, he added.

Vice-premier of State Council of PRC Li Keqiang stated that relationships of Russia and China need a totally new level and more intensive interregional ties.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
