Rustam Minnikhanov: We continue supporting rural areas

Tatarstan leadership in partnership with federal center will continue rendering various forms of support to agricultural producers. Such a statement was made by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov during his working trip to Northern regions of republic.
The Tatarstan Head visited Vysokaya Gora, Arsk, Baltasi, Kukmor, and Saba regions where he inspected the course of sowing campaign and met with chiefs of households.
In the interview President of Tatarstan noted good rates of sowing campaign in the regions he had visited. He also informed about plans of the republican leadership on supporting agriculture.
“We continue rendering the same support to rural areas,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He also emphasized the need for promoting sales of the Tatarstan agricultural producers.
“We lay high hopes on agro-industrial markets. We have already acquired such experience in Chistopol, Naberezhnye Chelny. Major agro-industrial park will soon appear in Kazan to provide places for agricultural producers who will be able to sell their produce without any trade agents.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
