RT President inspects course of construction of the Kazanka embankment

Prospects of development of the Kazanka embankment have been discussed at a visiting meeting held by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
Head of republic accompanied by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and Minister of construction, architecture and housing Irek Faizullin visited the construction site on the left bank of the Kazanka river near Kremlin, Universiade media center and Palace of water sports under construction.
The development concept of the Kazanka left bank which implies construction of a variety of objects was presented to President of republic. Rustam Minnikhanov noted that development of the embankment by Universiade 2013 is a priority task.
Universiade Media center will be located on the Kazanka right bank near the publishing house. Rustam Minnikhanov acquainted with course of works and gave a few assignments on speeding up construction.
Development of the embankment is also included in the project of the Palace of water sports and football stadium for 45000 seats.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
