More than 200, 000 children to spend their holidays in summer recreation camps in 2012

212,392 children will spend holidays in all kinds of camps within the limits of the republican program “On organizing recreation, health improvement and employment of children and youth” in 2012. Such information has been given at today’s briefing dedicated to summer holidays of children and teenagers.
The briefing was held at the RT Government House in format of video conference with all municipal regions of republic.
According to Vice-premier of Tatarstan Zilya Valeeva, the republican program “On organizing recreation, health improvement and employment of children and youth” has been implemented for 16 years.
Work of 134 health improvement institutions (including 18 republican and 54 municipal, 37 country camps of enterprises and organizations, 8 federal camps of higher educational institutions, and 18 sanatorium-resort camps) will be arranged in the context of the program 2012. In addition, 1004 daily school camps and 85 campsites will be functioning in republic. Moreover, work of 200 specialized shifts for socially active and talented children and youth will be organized.
Zilya Valeeva informed that special attention will be paid to children being in difficult life situations and children with deviant behavior. The number of children’s labor and recreation camps will increase in 2012.
35,000 children will spend holidays using budget funds. As for nonprofit organizations, 85 % will be paid by the state, 15 % - by parents. For commercial organizations 42,5 % is provided by the state, 42,5 % - by an enterprise, 15 % - by parents.
The Tatarstan minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Rafis Burganov informed that the ministry organizes holidays of 50, 000 children this year.

Vice RT Minister of health Sergei Osipov, Vice RT Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Andrey Kondratiev, Vice RT Minister of labor, employment and social protection Klara Tazetdinova, Vice RT Minister of education and science Airat Zinnurov attended the event.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.

On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
