Mintimer Shaimiev inspects objects under construction and restoration in Bolgar

RT State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev made a working trip to ancient town Bolgar and inspected objects under construction and restoration in the context of the project of the republican fund “Vozrozhdenie” (Revival).
Mintimer Shaimiev acquainted with construction of a riverside station combined with the Museum of Bolgar civilization. Main works have been completed here, finishing works are being implemented.
Later on, he viewed the Commemorative token in honor of Islam adoption by Volga Bulgars in 922. The foundation stone was laid on June 19, 2010 in Bolgar during solemn events dated to 1121st anniversary of Islam adoption in Volga Bulgaria. The Commemorative token represents a building in the style of ancient Bolgar. It will be commissioned on May 21. About 100 pictures made by the Tatarstan artists had been brought to Bolgar the day before. They will be placed on the basement floor of the building, on the territory of the museum exhibition complex.
Guests also viewed the protective building made of wood and polycarbonate. Mintimer Shaimiev noted that there are not similar constructions in Russia.
The next object viewed by officials was the complex comprising a mosque and medrese.
Afterwards, guests looked over the Museum of bread, the interactive museum of the history of farming and bread production on the Tatarstan land from ancient times till the XX century. The object is completely ready for opening on May 21.
In the interview Mintimer Shaimiev noted that he was satisfied by what he had seen and all works are being fulfilled in accordance with the plan.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
