Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in awarding winners of regional stage of all-Russian contest «Business-success 2012»

Today, at in Kazan (KRK Pyramida), a regional stage of all-Russian contest for title of best entrepreneurs «Business-success 2012 » took place. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in summing up the results of the contest.
Welcoming the audience, President mentioned that participation in the contest «Business-success » is very honorable for the republic. As RT President enhanced, small and middle business –this is first of all a field of activity for RT municipalities for, this is working places, this is that middle class which forms the republic and the country as a whole.
Small and middle business, unfortunately, constitutes so far only 25 per cent of our gross regional product . For 6 years we have grown from 16 per cent to 25. But our task is to reach not less than 40 percent , but better – 50», - head of the republic told .
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that small and middle business would grow jointly with investment attraction, By his words, in this issue educational potential, industrial sports and cultural-historical potential should effectuated.
Besides, RT President marked that Agency of investment development of Tatarstan should provide interests of our businessmen. Despite that recent years, the dynamics is observed small and middle business, Rustam Minnikhanov wished entrepreneurs to work more actively.
The winners of the contest were announced in such nominations as «Best startup project», «Best info project », «Best project in sphere of trade and service», «Socially responsible entrepreneur», «Best project in production sphere », «Best project in agriculture.
The winners received statuettes in the form of jack – symbol of how difficult is to arrange small and middle business.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
