Rustam Minnikhanov meets Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of united Arab Emirates Omar Saif Gobbash

Rustam Minnikhanov has met today with members of UAE headed by Ambassador of UAE Omar Saif Gobbash.

Meeting was held in a hall of negotiations at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatrstan party was presented by Director of External relations department. Aide to RT President on international issues Iskander Myflikhanov , chief of Agency for investment development Linar Yakupov , director general of JSC Holding company Ak Bars Ivan Yegorov and others.

Welcoming the guests, Rustam Minikhanov, first of all, thanked, leadership of UAE and emirate Dubai for high organization level of investment forum AIM 2012, which had taken place on April 30 – May 1 2012, in Dubai, where RF delegation took part as well.

Today, UAE is a kind of center, where the interests are being accumulated in the framework of further trade-economic and cultural development, said Rustam Minnikhanov .

Mr Ambassador noted that there are state companies in his country, which are involved in oil recovery, processing, oil chemistry.

Rustam Minnikhanov thanke once more Mr Omar Saifa Gobbash for contribution in strengthening relations between UAE and Republic of Tatartsan.

Commenting proposals, Rustam Minnikhanov informed that it is necessary to adjust cooperation in tourism sphere. He offered to hold seminar on this subject, having invited RT tourist companies.
Regarding use of Tatarstan land by UAE investors, R. Minnikhanov noted that holding company Ak Bars may perform as partner.
In conclusion, the parties have agreed to set up a working group, which will work out the issues of cooperation on those direction, which were spoken out.
