Meeting with Governor of Primorsky Krai takes place in Kazan Kremlin

A meeting between RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of Pimorsky Krai Vladimir Miklushevsky who arrived in Kazan with a working visit took place in the Kazan Kremlin today. RT Premier Ildar Khalikov was present at the meeting.
Within the framework of their visit to Tatarstan, a delegation attended the Kazan IT park where a working meeting and presentation of the projects «Electronic Tatarstan», federal electronic trade platform, activities of business incubators, possibilities of GLONASS +112» system were held. The guests also visited enterprises of Zelenodolsk and Nizhnekamsk.
Welcoming the delegation members, President of Tatarstan reminded that this meeting is not the first one, previous were also positive. «Our regions are needed to each other. Change of experience and contacts of our colleagues are very important», - he said.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the governor for participation in VII Kazan venture fair.
Head of the republic informed during the meeting that today IV International summit Kazansummit-2012 had opened in Kazan, which may be useful in part of attracting investors from the Islamic world.
Besides, Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the RF faces a serious task –to hold APEC forum. A number of measures connected with the forum will be held in Tatarstan. Head of the RT marked that a document enabling Tatarstan and Primorsky Krai to cooperate is present. Today, by words of R. Minnikhanov real projects, concrete performers and terms are needed. He asked the governor to determine chief of the working group (on the part of Tatarstan, - Deputy RT PM Shamil Gafarov).
Speaking about holding federal Sabantui, President of Tatarstan said that this would be a holiday not only for Tatars, for all. At the end of his speech Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the governor of the Primorsky Krai and his team for the interest exposed to Tatarstan.

Vladimir Miklushevsky in his turn thanked President of Tatarstan for hospitality. «Regarding E-government, innovation economy Tatarstan is ahead. This is proved by the fact that many subjects come to Tatarstan for learning. Today we face the following tasks: implementing E-government in Primorie, electronic state services, there are problems in this sphere, development of innovation economy. We have the same problems with Tatarstan in part of developing tourist sector, oil, gas chemistry and shipbuilding,» - he said.
Besides, Vladimir Miklushevsky informed that they are preparing to holding federal Sabantui. «This is an important event. We should hold it at the high level», - he summed up.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
