Facades of houses along roads and junctions to be put into shape by summer 2013 in Kazan

65 sports objects 30 of which are newly built and financed from the RF budget will be used during XXVII World summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan, the Tatarstan Minister of construction, architecture and housing Irek Faizullin informed at a briefing at the RT Government House.
The briefing dedicated to construction works at Universiade objects was held in video conference format with participation of all municipal regions.
Irek Faizullin reminded that construction of 27 of 30 objects had been finished. However, corrections are being implemented at some of them. Major works are being performed at the Medical center, the Center of public safety and the International information center.
According to Irek Faizullin, construction of the following objects is meant to be finished in 2012: the Center of gymnastics, the Universiade Village, the Palace of water sports, the football stadium for 45000 seats, and the hotel complex of the Center of rowing sports.
For now, there is an approved list of 19 objects where reconstruction and equipping must be implemented in accordance with FISU requirements.
As for transport infrastructure, first line of the Kazan underground will have been finished by summer 2013.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
