Rustam Minnikhanov lays capsule to the foundation of the plant of industrial electronics «ICL-КПО ВС»

President of Tatarstan has laid a capsule to the foundation of the plant of industrial electronics «ICL-КПО ВС» in the Usady village of the Laishevo region. The enterprise will be developing and producing computer equipment – personal computers, notebooks, servers and other items including industrial electronics. Total production capacity will make 1 mln produce per year.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that «ICL-КПО ВС» is no longer a local Tatarstan enterprise, it has reached considerable production capacities and economic indexes.
“We are present at a historical event in IT sphere today. The company’s team faces rather ambitious tasks such as training of IT specialists, promotion of software solutions, expansion of production capacities. Construction of the new plant demonstrates the example for the whole country. Vladimir Putin has set the task to create jobs for highly skilled personnel, and by laying new production we will fulfill his assignment,” he said.
President of Tatarstan noted that first stage of IT village has been constructed near the plant, and first residents – employees of «ICL-КПО ВС» already live there. Rustam Minnikhanov assured that the republican leadership would support the project and wished quick realization of plans.
The plant is being created as a multi-brand production. The produce will be turned out under «ICL», «RAY» and «Fujitsu» brands. Construction will be implemented in three stages. Finally, three manufacturing units and 2 engineering centers will be constructed on the area of 8 hectares.
Total amount of funding of the first construction stage makes 600 mln roubles. Construction of the first stage is to be finished in first quarter of 2013. The whole plant will be launched in 2017.
Director general of «ICL-КПО ВС» Viktor Dyachkov read out the message to descendants which says that a historical event took place on May 24, starting new age of IT industry in Tatarstan.
To the point, «ICL-КПО ВС» is a high-tech company, one of the leading IT enterprises in the country. Main activities are software development, consulting services, systemic integration and production of computer equipment. The company is integrated with Japanese corporation «Fujitsu».
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
